Cirgenski+Capalino was founded in 2008 in response to strong demand from private firms and not-for-profit organizations who required a strong, experienced advisor to provide critical counsel and services on matters related to their physical assets. We manage the physical, financial and organizational aspects of real estate, including development management, construction project management and oversight, project team building, site and building evaluations, permitting and approvals, and the myriad other matters that were both unfamiliar to our clients and represented a significant commitment of time and expense. We are also committed to insuring that our clients maximize organizational and environmental sustainability through their real estate. Christopher Cirgenski and James Capalino recognized the need for a firm that could offer all aspects of advisory services on projects of any size and provide clients with dependable programs and a comprehensive understanding of the process.

Christopher Cirgenski, an architect and formerly a Principal at both Lehr Construction and Fountainhead Construction in New York City, possesses multi-disciplinary experience and has been responsible for many significant projects in the City and throughout the world. James Capalino has held a variety of high-level positions in both New York City government and private industry, and is well known as one of the City’s leading strategic thinkers and problem solvers. Mark Thompson was a senior staff member at several City agencies and worked for nearly thirty years in national and international real estate development and management consulting, with a specialty in financial analysis, land use, and project management.
The organization’s affiliation with both Capalino+Company and Beckelman+Capalino allows it to draw upon the resources of those firms as needed. The Principals have decades of experience with public agencies, private and not-for-profit organizations, contractors, design professionals and the others who may become involved with an assignment. With the strong personal and professional relationships the Principals maintain, coupled with the knowledge of how these associations relate to each other, Cirgenski+Capalino can guide clients through complicated and challenging processes.
